Wallets are where you keep your assets - whether USD, Euros, GEL, or Crypto. Each currency has its own wallet, all managed from the Wallet page. 

You can deposit crypto from an external wallet into your Cryptal wallet if you have generated an address. In some cases, wallets may expire after 90 days of inactivity, so only create wallets that you intend to use within that time.
